After a day of running around on SFU campus for K.Storm’s Summer Running Man Event, a group of us decided to go to the House of Tofu Soup (북창동 순두부) for dinner!
The restaurant is a walk able distance from Lougheed Skytrain station.
My side of the table was practically silent the whole time because we were too busy eating to chat (I was starving because filming people running around is hard work, OK.)
So without further ado, the food we ate:
First of all, are the side dishes.
The usual side dishes and the additional mashed potatoes.
Yes, contrary to popular belief, that is not ice cream.
The eggs were for the tofu soup.
The menu is very colourful and filled with pictures of all the meal options.
There are also pictures of the options for meat/vegetables and how spicy you want your order to be.
Tofu Soup 순두부찌개
Kimchi Stew 김치찌개
All of the food we ordered were hot and still bubbling when they came out!
Stone Bibimbob 돌솥 비빔밥
Bul Go Ghi 불고기
Overall, the House of Tofu Soup is a great place to go if you feel like eating Korean stew or soup. I particularly liked how the menu had pictures of all the food they offered as well as the little icons at the side indicating your options for meat and spiciness! The menu is great for those who are unsure or unfamiliar with what to order at Korean restaurants.
